Valencia CF open first VCF Academy in Mexico
The club expands into a strategic North American market
UD Aldaia, through Samuel Rausell Taberner, were crowned champions of the first edition of the Torneo FIFA 20 de Escuelas Conveniadas competition for schools associated with the VCF Academy, beating Colegio Salgui 5-1 in the final.
The winner was rewarded with a Valencia CF shirt and three tickets for the Mestalla Tour, whilst the runner-up also received a shirt for his efforts.
The semifinals took place early on Monday afternoon, with UD Aldaia winning 1-2 against FBUE Atlético Amistat. Colegio Salgui bested CD Utiel 3-1.
Shortly afterwards, an exciting final saw UD Aldaia emerge victorious. The tournament was an opportunity to bring together all of the schools with an affiliation with the VCF Academy, in a fun competition.
